Preciatcha! Appreciation is the Inspiration!
Appreciation is the name of the game folks. In this episode of Inspire the Fire Fridays, I share a recent reminder of how a simple message of appreciation can lift you up to new heights. You will hear how a simple couple of sentences from a dear friend of mine hit my heart and brought a big old smile to face. And how the power within our friendships should never be taken for granted. Plus you will hear the story of how I was introduced to the very efficient slang of Georgia Southern Belles Ingrid Crawford Mantooth and Liz Crawford Sutton. (Plus it was a nice excuse to put up…

Doing Good!
Doing Good! This past Friday night, I witnessed one of the biggest acts of kindness created by one man, then attracting help from others. Robert Thornton and his nonprofit organization, Cloud Covered Streets which delivers new shirts, new socks, toiletries, snack bag, and letters of hope to those living on the streets delivered big this past weekend. John and June have been given a great opportunity……A new beginning! These two have been on the streets for over 20 months. Money has been raised in various ways. John received a guitar, something which he had to sell to stay above water before becoming homeless. And now, John and June (above pic) took…

Tell Your Story.
Tell your story. You must tell it. You must share it. Why? It’s because the telling of your story has absolutely zero to do with you. But it has everything to do with someone out there who’s heart and soul are in desperate need of hearing it. You see when you tell your story of struggle to triumph, your depression to dynamo or from suicidal tendencies to empowering legacies… can heal someone. And in that service, you will also heal your own wounds. You will conquer your own fears and shred the shrouds of doubt. You will embrace your vision of a fulfilled life. So I want you to let…

To Know My Essence Is Pure: Chris Tai Melodista
To Know My Essence Is Pure: Chris Tai Melodista The words Peaceful Warrior and Resiliency are two words which describe this week’s guest, Chris Tai Melodista. As you dive into this episode, you will find yourself enlightened, as well as asking yourself the deeper meanings of what life has in store for you. Despite the hurts and pains that life brings us, we still have choices. Choose Kindness. Choose Love. Or we can fall into the traps of what toxicity brings us. To Forgive And Ask Of…..
To Forgive And Ask Of…. This episode was a tough one as I have been in this position–To Ask Forgiveness from others that I’ve hurt or let down. And the flipside of forgiving others who’ve let me down whether they’ve asked of it or not. You see, we have this thing called EGO, that thing that is tied into ‘pride’ and is meant to protect our emotions. But yet, this thing that we feel is protecting us is actually bringing us down due to never releasing the toxic energy which needs to be let go in order to move forward. So, is it harnd to ‘forgive’ for you? Or is…

The Sweet Smell of Bullshit!
Laugh at adversity. Just laugh your head off at it! In this episode of Inspire the Fire Fridays, I was pretty lit up with a ton of energy after having dealt with a variety of bullshit so far this week. Small things, big things and everything in between. So I wanted to share this raw level of emotion and self-control in order to teach you how to loooove the sweet smell of bullshit. How? By understanding that it is a weak enemy. A enemy that can only shift your focus, steal your energy and ignite your rage if YOU GIVE IT PERMISSION to stink up the joint! So I wanted…

From The Dark Depths–To Taking Flight: Jaime Alexander Smith
From The Dark Depths–To Taking Flight: Jaime Alexander Smith A man can grab your attention by what he says. A man can grab your attention by his physical presence. A man can grab your attention by the displays of art and meaning of ‘his life’ ingrained upon his body through the different shades of ink. But to be a man who doesn’t grab attention, but “draws you in” by sharing his ‘shit storms’, is a whole different story. From The Dark Depths Of Life, Jaime has risen! He’s risen from the ashes of his Hell, for the reflection he sees in the mirror! He’s risen for the beautiful life which looks…

Constructing Myself
Constructing Myself These words hit home for me after watching the new Tony Robbins Documentary….I’m Not Your Guru! Think about it….how many of us are exactly who we want to be? I mean realistically, not to be Michael Jordan but knowing we don’t have the God Given skills or talents, but I mean to be excelling in all aspects of our lives. Are you physically where you want to be, considering the your body you’ve been given? Are you financially where you want to be, no matter the circumstances you were born under? How about your relationships, are you a contributor to the lives of others and do you have…

Life Is. You Are.
LIFE IS. YOU ARE. Welcome to another episode of Inspire the Fire Friday here on the Mindset Mountain Podcast. In this one I’m taking a deep dive into how we all can strive to remain an eternal student. Now you might be wondering why is today’s episode going up so late in the day? Well there is a wonderful reason for that as within these past 12 hours or so I’ve been reconnecting with myself as one such eternal student. But the thing is, it’s not what you might be thinking of when you focus on learning. You see last evening I reconnected with an old friend I hadn’t seen…
