    Loving And Cussing: Robert Thornton

Loving And Cussing: Robert Thornton There are some people in this world who cause you to fully look into yourself and answer the question……Am I doing enough? Well, after this episode, Robert Thornton has caused me to truthfully answer this question as I’ve looked in the mirror. To have an event and a campaign to raise money for a homeless couple to get them off of the streets by covering three months rent so they can simply have an address to put down on an application…..well, that’s service! Cloud Covered Streets To allow the creativity of those who are not gifted physically and artistically talented, but allowing the joy of…

    Moving Forward–Austin F. Cooper

Moving Forward–Austin F. Cooper Have you ever lacked in confidence or had a high fear of judgement from others? Insecure? Low on your self-worth and value in this world? We’ve all been through it! Some of our kids might be going through it. Then comes along something that gives us courage and value. Something we identify with in which we feel others admire. We become fun in the eyes of others because of this…..or at least that is what we feel! Then BAMMMMM……..the tides turn on us as the crutch which gave us our identity, takes us to a world which we’ve never expected!! The alcohol, the drugs, or both begin…

We Had To Stop Living A Lie.

We had to stop living a lie.  It was time. Just like the quote above shares, Eddie and I had worn ourselves down to the bone over these past few years in creating our vision for Mindset Mountain. We’ve had a ton of wins along the way for sure, there is no doubt about that. But along that same path, we kept putting our best masks on for the rest of the world.  To hide from the fact that we were not taking care of ourselves. To stop living a lie. Everything was about pushing out great content, inspiring people and doing all we could to create success with Mindset…

Always Evolving: AJ Richards Passion! Adaptability! Visionary! Love! These are just a few words to describe our guest, AJ Richards. Releasing The Weight!

Releasing The Weight! Those boulders which are weighing you down represent something! Your fears and frights create the makeup of each rock in the pack which hangs from your shoulders. Your failures and letdowns weigh you down as your purpose and worth begins to diminish as who you’ve wanted to become extends itself further from you! Well, until we decide to acknowledge and address that which is weighing us down, we will never become free from it to allow ourselves to move forward. Isn’t it time to say, “enough is enough”?! It’s time to bow down to what’s had this control over our lives (finances, health, spirituality, relationships, etc)……and…

    Preciatcha! Appreciation is the Inspiration!

Appreciation is the name of the game folks. In this episode of Inspire the Fire Fridays, I share a recent reminder of how a simple message of appreciation can lift you up to new heights. You will hear how a simple couple of sentences from a dear friend of mine hit my heart and brought a big old smile to face.  And how the power within our friendships should never be taken for granted. Plus you will hear the story of how I was introduced to the very efficient slang of Georgia Southern Belles Ingrid Crawford Mantooth and Liz Crawford Sutton.  (Plus it was a nice excuse to put up…

    Reflect And Recap!

Reflect And Recap! Wednesday normally being our interview episode, Jason and Eddie chose to take the stage together! Doing Good!

Doing Good! This past Friday night, I witnessed one of the biggest acts of kindness created by one man, then attracting help from others. Robert Thornton and his nonprofit organization, Cloud Covered Streets which delivers new shirts, new socks, toiletries, snack bag, and letters of hope to those living on the streets delivered big this past weekend. John and June have been given a great opportunity……A new beginning! These two have been on the streets for over 20 months. Money has been raised in various ways. John received a guitar, something which he had to sell to stay above water before becoming homeless. And now, John and June (above pic) took…

    Tell Your Story.

Tell your story.  You must tell it.  You must share it. Why? It’s because the telling of your story has absolutely zero to do with you.  But it has everything to do with someone out there who’s heart and soul are in desperate need of hearing it. You see when you tell your story of struggle to triumph, your depression to dynamo or from suicidal tendencies to empowering legacies… can heal someone. And in that service, you will also heal your own wounds.  You will conquer your own fears and shred the shrouds of doubt.  You will embrace your vision of a fulfilled life. So I want you to let…
