Give a big welcome to Michael Moore as he joins The Mindset Mountain Podcast… NOT THAT Michael Moore. But this Michael Moore Lol…I had to use this intro from our new friend Michael V. Moore’s blog to intro him on this blog post cuz it totally cracked me up. Eddie and I were stoked to have Michael join the show this first week of January 2016 to help you release the beast. Most everyone (Eddie and I included) are looking to step up our results in health and fitness in 2016. And with Michael V. Moore creating a book on how the mindset must come first to set the foundation for…

New Entrepreneur: Little Things Are Everything
New Entrepreneur…little things are everything! So this morning I woke up at 7:30 a.m. And you might be thinking..so what? At 9:10 pm I went for a walk at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, AZ for about 30 minutes to enjoy the overcast weather and stretch the legs a bit and think on how grateful I am. And you might be thinking…so what? Then a wonderful friend and fellow entrepreneur warrior all the way from The Netherlands messaged me for some help with something. I said hey do you want to jump on a Skype call for a bit..I’m available. And you might be thinking…so what? Then I ran to the…

Happy New Years
A Brand New Year Is Upon Us….. Happy New Years!! You can wrap up the year 2015 in a bow…..the good, and the bad! But the main question is will you be able to take all that had been part of your life in this past year……and taken the lessons of it all, to create a memorable 2016. January is the honeymoon…. It is the fresh start, or the new beginning…. It is the do-over that many of us at times wish for. But in all reality, will this year be any different in the aspects of which you have control? I’ve been there many times, and yes, it’s a…

Finding Yourself in 2016: Have You Lost Your Savior Within?
How will you go about finding yourself in 2016? I love this image above as it shows the variety and intensity of paths that we might take on our journey. The decisions you make as you go about finding yourself will push you to your limits and sometimes even momentarily break you down to your core. But I truly believe that at that core…that foundation of YOU…lies your savior. The savior we always seem to be seeking in our pursuit of success. Now as I say in the beginning of this podcast episode, I’m not speaking on the topic of religion. Although I do use a reference to scripture to…

VaNessa Duplessie: Holding the Space for Success
VaNessa Duplessie is a special type of leader folks. She has the unique ability to “hold space” for those around her in order to help inspire and lift others in their success. It is a sort of personal power that is truly a gift to those who work with her in life and business. I felt the photo below with her, Mark Hoverson and Jonathan Budd (one of VaNessa’s all time favorites pics) perfectly captures how others express their genuine gratitude for her leadership. This episode of The Mindset Mountain Podcast was such a distinct honor and treat for me as I’ve know VaNessa since 2011. She has always been…

Don’t Get Discouraged, Addiction to the Process Not the Outcome.
Are you discouraged right now? Don’t be. Hang on for a minute and then listen in as I tell you why. So…as you look up at the image above you are probably laughing and also wondering…what the heck is going on with Ray Higdon lol?! Well just as my label says in the image, there are many faces to Ray. And that is a great thing for those who seek success in mindset. Just yesterday my friend Ray shared a fantastic video about how not to get discouraged and to avoid becoming addicted to the outcome. He breaks it down in a video/blog post with a perfect combination of humor…

Through The Glass
Through The Glass…. There are times when we feel we are always on the sideline…. We want to get into the game We want it all We can see it…. Taste It… Hear It…. Feel It…. But the truth is, not all of us are blessed with the gifts to have the potential to ‘be in the game’ What is it worth to you to get into the game? Are you willing to do what others are not willing to do….get up early; stay late; run one more mile; do one more push-up; to listen, rather than speak; to let go of ego; to admit you are not ‘all-knowing’??? These…

Steve Harvey, New Year and Being Sick and Tired
Steve Harvey was sick and tired of himself. He was exhausted. He was worn down. He was worn out by poverty. He was just plain sick and tired of it all. And like the picture below states, “it’s a kind of TIRED that sleep can’t fix.” As the New Year approaches, many times these same feelings can overwhelm us. We feel like we didn’t accomplish what we set out to do in 2015. We let ourselves down, we let others down. We feel exhausted by all our efforts. We wonder…How can I WIN in 2016? Well listen in to this episode of The Mindset Mountain Podcast as I share a…

Are You Still Grateful? Your Answer Has Power!
Are You Still Grateful? This was the question I had to ask myself a couple days after this Thanksgiving. And it’s a question I feel we all need to ask ourselves daily. Am I still grateful? When everyone around us on a national holiday like Thanksgiving is being grateful for anything and everything…it’s easy to do the same. But once the warm and fuzzy feeling of that day passes…are we able to still embrace an attitude of gratitude? Especially when the day to day grind, the challenges rise up in our path. Over time on my personal journey, I can honestly say I was not grateful at all for many,…

Vain …..Or Ulterior Motives?
Am I VAIN? Or do I have ulterior motives? In this episode, hear how the pics I post of my workout journey on Facebook and Instagram are far from being VAIN…… Actually, I force myself to do so, for various reasons….I hate to have my picture taken, actually. On here, my daughter verifies that, lol And last Friday, the answer to my actions became clearer to me in why I am doing so, as one of my ‘best friends’ was ‘DEAD’…….for a minimum of four minutes! His heart stopped. Now why do I do this…. You, nor I want to invest our time or money into someone we know…
