A Day In Power

There are times we stand in power…..a day where our power is exposed to the world, yet we fail to recognize it due to drowning in our struggles.

Several years ago after I moved back to Arizona after having almost taken my life, and coming back to a world to rebuild myself……there was a time where I failed to realize the moment.

The moment was witnessed by my kids, uncle, and a cousin I had just  met for the first time.

The above pic is a reminder of this day, that until now, I realized that it was a day that I didn’t even recognize I had no idea how to celebrate my powers and strengths!

The message in this is to release the blinders from your world of pity…..

Drop the curtains so you may see you for who you actually are

There are times where you may have to back off from certain things…..

And there are times where you may have to turn up the heat, so you can excel at the rate your capable of.

Today I turn 44….

I don’t like the attention of my birthday…..I never have!

But today I choose to live and be me…..the new me, because even though there are many good things about me, there is so much more for me that I need to become the person I’ve envisioned myself to be

And in becoming this person…..I want the same for you!
