Well, ‘The Mindset Mountain Podcast’ had the privilege of hangin with author of the best seller “Sleep Smarter” and host of the number 1 podcast “The Model Health Show”……Shawn Stevenson!!
Shawn Stevenson, a prior guest of our show, as well as his co-host Jade Harrell……these two have reached the number one spot on itunes with over four and a half million downloads
Not only did my co-host Jason Legaard have the honor of introducing Shawn at his book signing and Q and A in Phoenix, AZ……we had the privilege of hangin with him afterwards with him and my girlfriend…..along with another dude whose story is going to be shared on our podcast in the future!
You see, when you begin to reach out and strive for higher ground, you need to not fear reaching out to those who are already where you want to be…..and Shawn is that person for Jason and myself.
Not only that, but Shawn shared some insight with myself on conquering the road blocks that I’ve been facing in getting my book done…..on top of sharing some advice with my girlfriend about some of her fears and why she should take action.
You see, the birthday girl, my girlfriend Jodi, myself, and Jason were able to learn, laugh, and enjoy a few hours of personally chillin with someone we admire. And in the process, we not only learned a few things about this guy who so many have come to love…..We have the option to take what he’s freely given and either use it…..or toss it away!
And when you are put in such a situation….someone like Shawn not only gave of himself freely, he did so from a place in which all of us should be doing!
The question now lies before us…..what are we going to do with that advice?
You may be in the position yourself where you’ve been given the keys to open several doors…..the question is are you going to start opening them up and walking through the doorways……or are you going to sit content in a room you’ve come to know, yet are tired of residing in?
