Stopping Time

time1

I recently heard on a podcast episode on the “I Love Marketing Podcast” with Victoria Labalme about her sharing her thoughts on finding your purpose….or finding your passion!

In this episode, she spoke about ‘stopping time’ in whatever you do, has a great deal with finding your passion or purpose.

The key though, is not that you are stopping time yourself…..it is what you are doing, that time stops.

Some of us have found this in falling in love….

Playing music….

Hiking….

Teaching something to someone, whether it be educational or through life experiences.

No matter, when time stops for you and you are in the moment, you are in a place of being. This place is a place where everything around you has no existence as your emotions are triggered to a place of  ‘having purpose’.

The only speaking engagement I’ve ever wanted to turn down, caused me to speak to an audience in the worst time of their lives as I was asked to head to Salt Lake City, Utah, to speak at a funeral…… Ripple Effects

The crazy part about that time I spoke, was realizing my words had nothing to do with me….It was my experiences and emotions that caused this particular audience to stop time for me, so I may impact those during one of the toughest days of their lives.

In stopping time, it is of no control of ours….but it is in these moments that we rise to that which our hearts are drawn towards.

Now Listen In…..
